Our target audience
The general target audiences for a thriller film is a 18, which will feature gruesome scenes, violence, murder, disturbing scenes or scenes that may be challenging to watch. And the other age rating for thrillers is a 15, which may feature less gruesome scenes, some scenes of violence and scare but will be less challenging to watch.
Our film opening will be an age rating of 15 as it will not display gruesome scenes that might be too upsetting to a 15age audience but a bit grown up from a 12 rated audience.
More specifically our target audience will be for the 15+ year olds of both genders who are interested in super-natural beings and ghostly figures who can have an influence on an human life. It will be aimed at the person who wants to experience a bit of a fright but who doesn't want to be terrified in their seat. As our film will have historic references it will also be aimed people interested in the Tudor dynasty and the scandalous happenings and characters that followed from this era.
