Costumes and Props
In our film opening we decided that the mood of our film should be very dark and dull. The weather adds to this sincerity of the mood and the costumes we are using will too. The characters are the moody and eerie Ethel, the dark and ghostly Thomas Culpeper and the innocent stranger Rose.
Ethel will be wearing a long black dress with black boots, black cardigan, a black bowler hat, to give a grungy feeling.
Culpeper will be wearing a long black cloak that partially covers their face which will be powderd white.
Rose will be wearing casual clothing to identify who is the victim in the film and to show the differences of the two characters.
The prop we will be using is a heavy looking stick to make it seem to be a murder weapon. Though the prop used will only be seen in flashes in the opening.
