THE GENRE AND SUBGENRE OF OUR THRILLER

Different types of genres for films?
*Adventure films are usually exciting stories, with new experiences or exotic locations, very similar to or often paired of with the action film genre.
*Action films usually include high energy, big budget physical stunts and chases, possibly with rescues, battles, fights, escapes, destructive crises.
*Comedies are lighthearted plots consistently and deliberately designed to amuse and provoke laughter (with one liners, jokes, etc) by exaggerating the situation, the language, action, relationships and characters.
*Dramas are serious, plot-driven presentations, portraying realistic characters, settings, life situations, and stories involving intense character development and interaction. Usually they are not focused on special effects, comedy,or action, dramatic films are probably the largest film genre.

What exactly is a sub-genre                                                        Film genres often branch out into sub-genres, for example in the instance of a courtroom scene in a drama would have the sub genre of legal so it becomes a legal drama. A sub genre is a genre linked to a genre for example the film below is a romantic comedy, the genre being romantic and the sub genre comedy.
This film is in the genre of romantic and the sub genre is comedy.

Our Film openings Genre?
Thriller and Suspense Films: These are types of films known to promote intense excitement, suspense, a high level of anticipation, ultra-heightened expectation, uncertainty, anxiety, and nerve-wracking tension. Our film genre and sub genre is supernatural thriller. This genre incorporates supernatural themes that are considered mysterious. Not like other sub genres supernatural thrillers thrive on the 'edge of your seat' feeling. The audience is in an almost constant state of anticipation. The plot usually revolves around a mysterious event or person and the quest to find the truth.
