First thoughts of on production
Doing research allowed me to see what makes a good film opening. Most openings of both thrillers and horrors are shown to have both suspensions and tension allowing the audience be able to feel the action taking place. The first ideas i thought of for our group was to base it on the usual base line in which film openings use in which this case is having a dark setting, bold font etc. Having a dark setting will allow the audience to think and allow them to work out why it has been used. I also think that having a thriller that will make the audience think is also another way in generating the mood. This will also allow the credits of the film become confusing and go against original credits used. This will allow the audience to see something different as not many people use the setting to there credits being represented backwards. Thinking of the production is important as you will need to insure that the conventions of existing films have been identified in our own production. Having something different will make the audience more interested as they won't feel bored of seeing the same thing continuously though every thriller film that they come across.
Thinking of our group production the characters , setting are also important as we see that the audience need to have some kind of view where the scene has been located. Having the main character being introduced is an idea that is used continuasly allowing viewers to focus on them and where it has been set.
