EXAMPLES OF TITLE SEQUENCES IN THRILLERS AND WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE

This is the opening to a horror title

This is also the title of a horror title

This is a title of a thriller title

This is the title of a horror-thriller title

This is also horror opening title
This is a thriller opening title

From the titles above we can see that thriller titles are usually written in a plain and straight forward font in contrast to the horrors that give more away.

For instance the title for the ring is written in a scratchy looking font and has a ring around the title showing the fact the name of the film isn't symbolic the ring is significant to the movie. The same with title 'wrong turn' the letters seem to be turned slightly inwards to show the title in more detail, they have taken a turn inwards.

The thriller-horrors are both simplistic an a little different from a regular thriller movie titles, for example 'When a stranger calls' is written in plain writing but has the important words such as 'stranger' in a larger font to show its importance and horror like qualities.
