RESEARCH INTO FILM AUDIENCES

Asking this question allowed me to see what different types of people liked and gave me ideas on what our thriller would be aiming towards. The majority of people were into comedy which shows me that although people may believe thriller is extremely popular with youngsters the screen shot above says different.

Most people feel that the sound is very imporatant with regards to thrillers but also the idea that something exciting and that keeps you on the edge of seat is very important for thrillers. One of the girls used the example of jaws and the noise connected to the shark to show the power of the sound in thrillers as being essential.
