The above picture is a still picture of Thomas Culpepper and this is a still of him in a series of the Tudors. Culpepper was described as 'a beautiful youth' and he was a great favourite of Henry. It was because of this favouritism that Culpeper had major influence with the King and was often bribed to use his influence on others’ behalf. In 1539, a Thomas Culpeper was accused of raping a park-keeper’s wife and then murdering a villager. However there is a possibility that the rapist was Culpeper's elder brother, also called Thomas. We use Culpepper from the Tudors because the park we have decided to film at in actually called Culpepper so it fits in well with our ideas for 'The Voice Behind'.
