In our opening the two central characters are Thomas Culpepper, and the girl Ethel. Ethel is the young girl being haunted by the ghost of Thomas Culpepper. We have a historical reference in our thriller opening.
Thomas Culpepper was a courtier of Henry VIII, and he had an affair with Henry's fifth wife, Catherine Howard. They were both executed for this affair.
In our opening Culpepper returns to the present day for revenge, he arrives and possesses Ethel and makes her do horrible things.
