Sounds

Like and thriller opening our scene needs to have sound. We need to add non-diegetic sound to our opening. Sound is very important for any thriller production, weather it's the background music, or the creaking, footsteps, thudding or bangin sounds. To create the sound for our thriller opening we used the programme Soundtrack pro. Here is a screenshot taken while creating our sound: 

On soundtrack pro we selected the sound of which instrument we wanted to use, and then selected the type of sound. A few of the available categories were cheerful, clean and cinematic, we selected the category of dark, which was the most appropriate for our thriller and used some of those sounds.
