Final Stages of Editing

Final stages of filming

As the deadline for our opening continues to draw near the final stages of editing our filmed footage are crucial. Every lesson and sometimes out of lesson we are editing our footage which includes:

·       Adding transitions

·       Adding in new footage or footage filmed before

·       Adding in images that will be included as stills in the opening

·       Adding sound (non-digetic and digetic) to accompany the footage

·       Arranging the footage into a suitable order

·       And importantly adding in the titles for our film

Editing using final cut enables us to make our footage look like a finished film and will help us to achieve and improve our film to make the deadline.
