After learning about film openings and analising them, we were to get some practise using the camera's, before doing this we were given a health and safety tutorial.
It is essential that the camera's are looked after properly when filming, for example if it is raining, we must make sure to keep it inside the bag, and not carelessly leave it anywhere. We were shown how to place the camera's securely on a tripod, so it doesn't fall off.
We learnt how to insert and take out the memory cards, so that every time we film our work is saved. We also learnt the very basic, which was how to actually turn the camera on and off, and the button which records.
We also learnt how to film some basic shots and how to zoom in and out.
